Antonia Lofaso

Antonia Lofaso's cooking can be a way to investigate what lies within her. Food she cooks up is the result of her curiosity about the culture of Los Angeles, which was ignited by a trip from Long Island to Los Angeles from Long Island's suburbs. Cavatelli, carnitas, and various other cuisines can be found on one menu. The menu is constantly evolving taste. Every dish she serves is filled with her unique perspective for the future while also reminiscing about the old. Scopa Italian Roots was opened in 2013 by Lofaso who was influenced from her Italian American heritage. It received a warm welcome. Lofaso's rendition of old school Italian dishes is among the top restaurants in Los Angeles. Lofaso has been consistently loved by the Scopa's customers because the food is authentic and unmistakably pleasing. Lofaso worked under culinary greats to learn their refined methods. She was also not afraid making bold choices to honour her instincts. She quickly rose through the ranks of Wolfgang Puck's Spago and then went on to make a difference in the kitchens of famous chefs of Los Angeles while working closely with a variety of famous celebrities. In 2011, Lofaso partnered together with Sal Aurora and Mario Guddemi to open Black Market Liquor Bar in Studio City. Lofaso was able to find the space within Black Market as well as her partnerships. Her creative independence would be fostered with this partnership. Black Market's goal is to not be constrained in any way. The first course could be dill chips, then shishitos peppers. Next comes an Korean Wing, and lastly the meatballs course. The underlying ingredient in this dazzling array of flavors is Antonia. Lofaso has, over the course of her career, has judged her performance by the degree to which she knows her target audience. Also, she stays in the same place she was. The Top Chef Chicago episode and Top Chef: All Stars demonstrated her capability to communicate her self outside of the culinary environment. Since then, she has continued her work in front of cameras as a CNN's Restaurant Startup Judge, as well as recurring appearances on Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child. Lofaso published The Busy Mom's Cookbook: 100 Quick and Delicious Recipes in 2012, along with Penguin. It also told the tale of her struggles when she was a student at The French Culinary Institute. She had a daughter, Xea, as well. Lofaso states that her love for cooking is the driving factor behind her success. She stays on top of things by keeping a close to the latest trends and fashions. She is transforming the aesthetic by redesigning chef wear to be functional and stylish by launching her brand Chefletics. Lofaso is determined to stay true to her vision and customers. She's created Antonia Lofaso Catering to help in achieving that.
