Tommy Lee-1-819x1024Thomas Lee Bass, a Greek-American musician and a founding member of Motley's heavy metal group, is an American-Greek-American musician. Lee Bass also serves as the band's long-term drummer, and co-founded Methods of Mayhem, an the rap group. Lee has also been involved in his own musical projects. Lee is an avid PETA member and a fervent advocate for the rights of animals. Lee wrote Terry Prather, SeaWorld's president protesting Tilikum's treatment. Lee believes that the animal should be freed and stated that SeaWorld will not comply as Tilikum is their most important sperm donor. Lee expressed his displeasure and was disgusted by SeaWorld's ill-conceived and insidious methods of getting Tilikum sperm. Lee stated that he wanted to avoid tragedies similar to trainers' deaths as this was due to the whales' inability be kept captive.
